Rooted in a reflection on the structural similarities between blood flow networks and commercial traffic systems, the series explores forms of assimilation — from food to commodity — and the trajectories and degradation of objects as they move through space.
The use of image transfer places the notion of absorption at the heart of each canvas. The surface receives the ink without fully assimilating it, mediated by an acrylic medium.
